Job Description:
OVERVIEW: Family owned, private practice with warm, caring

welcoming dental or medical professional to join our talented front
desk team of kind and caring professionals. JOB: Full-time 4-5 days
a week (name your hours!) HOURS: M-TH 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday
7:30am-2:00pm PAY: HIGHLY COMPETITIVE PAY w/robust FULL-TIME (28+

direct work experience in a front office capacity (either dental
office or medical facility). Preference will be given to those with
previous dental receptionist experience. Skilled professional who
is a team player, works well with different styles, backgrounds and
knowledge levels. Ability to build relationships easily, welcoming
and warm presence (with both patients and teammates). Able to write
effective and professional correspondence, including texts, emails
and memos. Ability to simply explain financials i nvolved in
patient treatment plans. Quickly adapts to changes in office
policies, technology, and practice protocols. Embraces technology
and is highly skilled in Microsoft Office, Google and practice
management software ( Open Dental experience preferred ).
Professionally diffuses conflict and is calm, professional and
polite. Able to maintain systems and primary databases. Able to
manage multiple competing priorities with a calm, kind and
organized approach. Brand ambassador, supports practice goals,
builds our reputation and has a strong customer service orientation
with highly effective communication skills. JOB DUTIES: Develops
and effciently maintains office schedules to meet practice goals.
Increases and stimulates new patient growth by supporting marketing
and promotional programs, including recall, care calls, referral
letters and gifts, and working with referrals. Reviews schedule to
identify outstanding treatment, scheduling issues, financial
concerns, and opportunities for same-day treatment. Discusses
available appointment times at morning huddles and asks team
members for ideas to fill openings. Responsible for answering
incoming calls to include new patient calls, emergencies,
scheduling patient appointments, requesting records, and follow up.
Proactively develop an "ASAP" list for any appointments that can be
moved forward to fill up a schedule that has last minute openings.
Manages unscheduled list, asap list, treatment pending list t o
ensure patients follow through to meet scheduling goals. Management
of patient conrmation software (Flex), to patients confirmed in
advance of appointments following practice conrmation protocol.
Sends "Thank You's" to referral sources. Adapts to improvements in
office policies and efficiencies as we strive for excellence and
growth. Team player who is willing to work with others, be
efficient, and displays kindness and empathy. Ensures all new
patient paperwork and radiographs are obtained at least 24 hours
before the patient's appointment. Greets all patients promptly and
courteously as they arrive at the office, checking them in and
notifying the appropriate parties of their arrival. Responds to
patient inquiries providing knowledgeable and accurate information
on various topics such as work to be done, billing information, and
scheduling. Assists new patients and walk-ins to the office and
provides information about services offered, hours of operation,
payment options, treatment/services, and other relevant
information. Manages late patients, no-shows, and cancellations
according to office protocol and Standard Operating Procedures.
Oversees patient relations and handles patient questions or
complaints while reflecting Pure Smiles core values. Provides new
patients with required paperwork ensuring all signatures are
obtained, and essential information is noted such as allergies and
medical conditions, and input this information into Open Dental
Communicates with clinical staff during the patient's appointments
to keep everyone on schedule and in the loop about our patient's
needs. Follows all Standard Operating Procedures for the respective
position. Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years
